Consider a patient missing all their teeth. One option is traditional full dentures supported by the mouth’s soft tissues.

A more advanced solution involves placing 3 to 4 implants in each jaw (minimum of two) to support removable long-term dentures. With four implants, we can install specialized attachments that provide exceptional stability. This approach typically yields better results than traditional soft tissue-supported dentures.

The third option utilizes the All-On-6 dental implants system. This method involves placing six implants per jaw to support a fixed bridge made from porcelain, acrylic, or composite materials. The bridge includes aesthetically designed pink portions that simulate natural gums, supporting 12 to 14 teeth per jaw.

Dental Implants Restoration: What’s the Difference Between All-On-4 and All-On-6?

While some clinics offer All-On-4 treatment, which uses only 4 implants per jaw to support a fixed bridge, our experience shows superior results with the All-On-6 method. Therefore, our clinic generally recommends the All-On-6 approach.
